The Rig

The Truck, a long bed, crew cab, 2000 Ford F350 is powered by a 7.3 L Turbo diesel engine. The motor was converted to run off alternative fuels by LoveCraft Bio-Fuels. Lifted 4” by Donahoe Racing for added suspension travel and to clear our 35” BFG Mud’s! In case of objects capable of puncturing our tires sitting in the road, we have filled our tires with SLIME, to fill any leaks that may attempt to slow us.
The Truck, from the nose back, is built to go, and not be stopped. A heavy duty front bumper custom built for us to plow through any obstacles, has an attached Hi-Lift Jack, Pia Off-Road lights, and a SuperWinch in case we get stuck in any tough situations, or for all the heavy lifting needs that comes along with our project work.
The interior, is invisible to those outside due to our black out tint, is equipped with GPS, as well as a drop down screen routed into our navigation system for stealth, flawless travel. A stereo and DVD player to keep us entertained during those long hauls between breaks can play all our favorite surf films, as well as help us review our footage while linked into out Laptop.
Once past the cab, we come to our home. The bed is filled with a Six Pac camper, equipped to sleep all four of us. While it is little tight for four, it is home. The camper is equipped with a double sink, a three burner stove, and an oven to make us warm meals on those cold nights, and a wonderful A/C for the rest of the nights, which are quite HOT!!! Outside the camper we have an outdoor shower to keep us clean, and photogenic, an awning to keep us out of the sun, and access to the propane, fresh water, and grey water. All this topped off with Solar panels to harness the energy of the long lasting sunlight that is encountered down south.
Under the camper we have a custom built storage system to hold our fishing rods, spear guns, tools, and all that gear that comes with living for a year out of a truck. This system also helps support the camper that was actually built for a mid-sized truck. The narrower body of the mid-sized camper allows us to handle the narrow road ways, and precarious corners, while only sacrificing inches of room inside.
At the back of it all is another heavy duty rear bumper, again equipped with a quality winch for those days when nothing seems to be going right, or you just don’t feel like finding a couple of trees to hang our hammocks from! The rear end is also wired with speakers and lighting for all the Feral Green Fiesta’s around the camp fire!
